"Reborn" - A two-piece brass and crystal jewelry set being donated for the silent auction at the first annual Austin Fashion Night Out!
Through the wonders of Facebook, and a very socially-involved family member, I was lucky enough to stroll upon an awesome event being held in Austin next month.
On September 10th, from 9pm-12am, there will be an awesome fashion show at the Belmont in Austin showcasing local fashion designers! It really should be a special treat. Check out Austin’s Fashion Night Out for more information, or even the Facebook event!!
We are donating this 2-pc brass set entitled “Reborn,” which is a $64.00 value, to the silent auction aspect of this fun, exciting event. We’re hoping to help bring in some money in to support The Fortissimo Foundation, a nonprofit organization that’s bring the beauty and wonder of music into lower-income communities.
Feel free to look into the event! I know that Ennio and I are planning to be there, not only to have a really good time, but also to support local fashion artists in the area.
Best Wishes,

You can now find us at Bliss Spa in New Braunfels, Texas! Bliss Spa is located off of Loop 337 across from Chicken Express and New Braunfels Feed and Supply.
Tina is a wonderful hairdresser that has been cutting and styling my hair for as long as I can remember! She is wonderful at what she does, and is now even more wonderful because she has 15 pairs of Smad and Jorny’s jewelry in her salon!

Isn't she adorable?
This is how you can reach her to stop in and see some jewelry, or schedule a hair appointment! She also does a great job of waxing and shaping my eyebrows!!

Not only does my hair always look great, she has a wonderful personality and I love visiting with her!
These are a few of the earrings that Tina now has in her salon!

You know me…. When Michelle asked if I’d like to be a part of her wedding, by contributing to the ladies’ overall look with jewelry…. I WAS SO EXCITED!!!
She had a very distinct and complimentary color pallet, totally fit for a summer wedding!
After working together to come up with a plan, I made two similar (but slightly different) necklaces, photographed them, emailed them to Michelle, and then we took it from there!

Michelle's bridesmaids' jewelry
She wanted to make her maid of honor feel extra special, so she requested that one necklace be adorned with a bit more silver
, as well as a matching bracelet.

Notice the extra wrapping around the main, orange stone!
As an added touch of gratitude, and as a way to show Michelle that we were grateful for her business… we made her some jewelry to wear on her special day… for free!

A simple bracelet and earrings accompanied her "something new" necklace from her soon-to-be husband!
Thank you so much for your business, Michelle.
I am happy that we could serve you, and get you exactly what you wanted!!
You are going to be a stunning bride! Tim’s a lucky man.

When Scott first contacted us about wanting to create something special for his wife, he did not know exactly what he was looking for. He had been following us on our facebook account, so he had seen somethings before that he was interested in, but had not whole-heartedly decided on a particular piece.
After browsing through our online portfolio, he messaged me with a couple of images that he thought his wife, Lindsay, of 5 years would like – and we took it from there. He wanted a 2-pc set (necklace and earrings) to give to her, which we honestly donnot seem to make very frequently.
These are the earrings that initially interested him, which were available in our inventory -

And this is the necklace that he was interested in, which was actually no longer available in our inventory.

As Scott and I talked about ideas, and I fuddled through beads, this is what we came up with for his wife:

Thank you Scott – I know Lindsay will love it!! And HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!

Debbie is an excellent customer of ours! She loves ordering specially made coasters to give as gifts and to decorate her home with, and has great taste in jewelry!
She approached me with a clothing and accessories catalogue, filled with pink sticky notes! She had flagged several sets of jewelry that she liked, but didn’t want to pay the outrageous prices for. We talked about creative changes I would make to each set, and began the journey!
This is one set that we made for Debbie with a pair of earrings, bracelet, and necklace! On top of the jewelry set having a more creative and orignal look, it saved Debbie twenty dollars on the entire set!
Remember, placing orders is easy!
We do special-orders on
*Coasters – Have a specific theme in your living room? Have family photos you’d like to display in a non-traditional and trendy way? Have a favorite football or hockey team? We can do anything! Also, these are great gifts for your wedding party!
*Jewelry – Just got a new dress and want something to match? Found something you like in our store or inventory that you would like in a different color? Saw something online or in a catalogue that you want to save money on? Or have creative control over?
*Wedding Jewelry – Are you a beautiful and unique soon-to-be bride that needs equally beautiful and unique jewelry? Do the mother-of-the-bride and mother-of-the-groom need eye catching jewelry to accent their gowns? Does your wedding party’s jewelry need to perfectly enhance their dresses?

As most of you know, Lindsey is my sister… So it was only obvious (and exciting!) that I would do the jewelry for her wedding this past summer!
The bridesmaids wore a long double-wrapped (which can also be worn long, single-wrapped) string of pearls and crystals. The earrings were simple and dainty, to accentuate their faces without taking away the focus!

We also did the jewelry for the mother of the bride (my mom
)!

We all had an amazing day!

We worked with Cara (the beautiful bride) a while ago, but I’ve just now come into contact with some wonderful pictures to share with you!
She was such a pleasure to work with, and not only did we do the bridal party jewelry, but we also did Cara’s earrings… which were by far the most fun!
After she purchased her dress, we worked together to come up with the perfect earrings for her. We started out by shopping together at my favorite bead store in Austin – I wanted her to be as involved in the process as possible!

Recently my sister got “promoted” into a new office (and left her cubicle) and she needed something to jazz up the walls!
I really enjoyed playing with the base-texture of the purple paint. Although the camera doesn’t capture these elements very well – they are very exciting!
Some have splatters of purple paint on top of more splatters of purple paint -
Some have think brush strokes -
Or some let the white of the canvas peer through..
They were really fun to make -
And I am happy with them! So was my sister
